The Academy offers a significant portfolio of classes to suit all ages and requirements. Catering for students from 2 years old and over, Sonia Webb actively promotes an inclusive environment for students to thrive and develop. The class programme and timetables are set to work around academic timetables and the busy lifestyles of working and retired clients.
Tuition can be delivered in one of three forms:- 1) Group sessions 2) Pairs/couples 3) One to one
Ballet
Ballet - Technical, General and Pointe work
Classes cover all aspects of ballet technique, including grade work, classical and contemporary.
Classical and Contemporary Classes
Ballet classes are available for beginners, intermediates and advanced ballet dancers. Ballet Fun classes are also provided for children of all ages.
Ballet for Toddlers
We have excellent facilities for our 2 -5 year olds in our "On your toes fun ballet classes" purely aimed at this age group. Come and join out tiny tots united club great for those up and coming Angelina ballerinas.
Pointe Work
These are specialised classes/private tuition for training en pointe for ages 13 years and over
Educational Support Tuition
Student of dance wishing to advance their knowledge and skills to meet the acquired levels for GCSE, A Level or Degree courses in dance/performing arts can gain expert educational support through the Academy.
Choreography
Need advice/support for a forthcoming audition then Choreography class is for you with specialist guidance and tuition in choreographing an audition routine specifically for you.
TAP
Grade work involves technique footwork arm positions etc. Tap dance classes are where we teach dance numbers to various genres of music from classical to funky tap.
Toddler TAP Classes
Our fun tiny tapper classes are aimed at two to five year olds lively and fun on saturday mornings.
Jazz & Lyrical Jazz
Fun classes for children and Adults available, dance to the rhythm of great musicals like “Chicago” and “all that Jazz” and feel the excitement of dancing in our annual stage performance.
Performing Arts
Stage Dance & Musical Theatre. Look forward to joining us in our musical theatre productions. From stage or film our productions are superb
Drama & Song
The Academy offers excellent facilities and … Classes build personal confidence, transfer the learning of new skills, and promote positive leadership, vocal performance and team work.
Class for children from 5 yrs upwards Private Tuition available for soloists or groups.
Disco/Freestyle
There are three types of disco/freestyle classes. Social, medallist and competitive. Please call us for details.

Young Groovers
Funky tots disco class on saturday mornings moving and grooving to the up to date chart music fun and energetic classes.
Credit Crunch Children's Disco Class
These classes are on a tuesday evening at a reduced rate "Limited Places are available".
Competitive Freestyle Classes
For students who want to take their dancing up a gear, train with one of the top professionals in all aspects of competitive solo work, your solo routines are choreographed and designed to suit your technical abilities. Each routine is unique to the student and no routine is the same. Private tuition is a must for all dancers wanting to compete.
The Academy expects commitment from both the student and parent/guardian and you must be aware that competitive work becomes expensive as students reach a higher status. Participation in competitive dancing also requires additional expense in the provision of extra dance lessons, costumes and competition fees. It is important that both the student and parent/guardian understand the level of commitment required and are urged to speak with the Academy who will be happy to discuss any aspect developing a student through competitive dance.
You will be trained to dance at high speed with athletic flexibility from ages 5 to 25 years.
Competitive Dance
Classes are run especially for competitions which must be attended on a regular basis.
Competitive classes cover Solo’s, Pairs, Rock & Roll, slow dance and Street dance
Slow Dance/Lyrical
These classes are very similar to contemporary dance balletic and slow. Very good for posture, poise and balance. A must for all ages especially for the freestyle competitor.

We offer private tuition and Rock and Roll classes in the following styles:-

Acro/Rhythmical Gym Classes
These classes are run on tuesdays and saturdays. Pupils are trained to perform basic figures in the beginner group. For ex - Cart wheels, box splits hand stands, straight splits, back bends etc.
Intermediate and Advanced Level
Intermediate and advanced level are intensive classes in supreme flexibility. Some of the figures are flips, walkovers, springs, aerial tumbles (no hands). Some of these movements are also used for competitive freestyle disco dance and cheerleading. Private lessons are available on request for all levels of acrobatics.

Rhythmical Acro
Acrobatics set to music. Floor and apparatus work using ribbons and hoops, gym balls etc
Street Hip Hop Classes
Children and Adult Classes
Funky R&B moves and sounds. Learn to dance like a backing dancer.
A relaxed casual atmosphere is waiting for you.
Adult Hip Hop Classes
Classes are on tuesdays at 7:15 for beginners. Advanced classes are also available. Please ask for details
Kids Hip Hop Classes
Funky funky tiny dude class. Ages 2 - 5 years. Super cool sounds and moves for the tiny groover every saturday morning. These classes are extremely popular and fun.
Credit Crunch Street Hip Hop Classes
Credit Crunch Class on tuesdays at 5:30. These classes are at a reduced rate. Booking these classes are essential as they tend to fill up quickly. Call us today to book your place.
Disco/Stage Dance
The Academy looks for talent within the school and will from time to time identify potential for the participation of students within the Academy Disco Team. Although this is fantastic opportunity students MUST be prepared to attend weekly training sessions. This is a team commitment and one that requires 100% effort.
Cheer Leading
You’ve seen High School Musical, now you can be a Cheerleader too, Chant, Cheer dance and Pom Pom work. Acrobatic stunts, great fun! Classes are categorized into three separate lessons catering for tots, juniors and seniors
Latin, Salsa & Ballroom
Did you simply love strictly come dancing, come dancing with the academy and take part in the classes for fun or if you want to take medals. The Academy caters for students from age 3yrs upwards.
Latin
Learn the Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive, Pasadoble, salsa the night away.

Calling all wedding couples, how would you like to dance your first dance to the music of your own choice have that special tune you both love, “you know your song”.
Well let me choreograph your dance for you, not just a waltz or anything to fit in with the normal.
Your first dance is special. Your dance can be low key or as extravagant as you wish, if you desire you can also include your best man and bridesmaids etc. All musical tastes catered for.
Many years experience of teaching wedding couples, come and see sonia a trained choreographer in all music rhythmical styles.
Note for future bride grooms, fellows don’t panic its great fun, we haven't had a failure yet!.

Sonia Webb’s choreography skills are second to none if you have a show or an event and need some help give her a call and arrange a meeting to discuss details she will be only to pleased to help.
Contemporary Dance
Contemporary dance classes are made up from a variety of advance techniques. Students learn to use their bodies in a variety of ways, and they focus on breathing, posture and emotional state to establish a mind body connection. Students may learn choreographed works, or they may be encouraged to improvise dance pieces.
Prom Dances
Learn to dance for your Prom Night, Couples/Groups Fun Classes
Come to the Academy and learn all the basic routines that you will need for your special evening.
